We went with the DJI mini drone to save a little bit of money compared to other newer drones. We also got ours off Gumtree but we love it and we're so glad we can record our memories to share back home.

We lost these (we left them under our van) and we can't wait to repurchase as they are so useful for wild swims or at the beach or when we go kayking. They stay on and have a proper sole so you can walk to your location in them.

These are incredibly lightweight! They also are easy to clean and just a fantastic camping pan. When we run our of gas in the van we often use these to cook up spag bols, pancakes, fajittas and they haven't let us down.

Okay - I wasn't convinced by these and lots of people make fun of us for having them. BUT, they save your knees when going down mountains (they were a lifesaver on Ben Nevis!)

This ia a one man fishing kayak. We have used it for two people as well and it seems pretty sturdy (although not reccomended).

This is one of my favourite products in the van. This projector is so small and lightweight but the picture is still crisp. if you are thinking of getting a projector in your van - Get this one!

A great drybag that we love. It comes with a waterproof phone case as well which is great for keeping your phone out and dry.

The male version - the Ospray farpoint bag. A great backpacking bag and Mike took it all around America and it's still holding up 3 years later!

Small bluetooth speaker with a strap to attach to bikes, bags or kayaks.

We love our battery pack incase we run out of charge in the van we always have it ready for our phones.

We opted for the Go-pro hero 8 to save some money and it has never let us down. It takes fantastic landscape shots and it'd a good budget option compared to newer models.

We love our Leatherman we use it to fix things in the van such as broken draws, for camping and Mike uses it for fishing!

Catering to the female adventurer, the Osprey Fairview 70L bag is made for women and fits like a dream. We love these bags as they have a daypack as well - which I know use as my everyday backpack as it saves space in the van.

An essential for any hiker or van lifer. We have used this when we have run out of water in the van to filter fresh water for us to drink as well as out on every hike!
