Tips to save money?
Diesel and Petrol: The cost of fuel fluctuates daily. This means if you're travelling in a camper it's best to fill up when you see the price is low even if your tank isn't empty. We found the cheapest prices to be in the morning and that they got more expensive during the day. Before we went our research told us Sundays and Monddays were cheaper.
Bulk Buy: If you are travelling in a camper it's best to bulk buy food before you enter Norway. We did a £175 bulk buy in Germnay that lasted us 3 weeks and saved us a tonne of money.
First Price: Look for First Price items in supermarkets (Rema1000 is a budget supermarket) as these are own brand products.
Fishing: We manaaged to have a few cheap meals by catching fish to eat. We had mackerel, pollock and sea trout.
