The Land of Condors and Caimans

Bolivia surprised us the most out of all the South American countries we visited. Starting off with the famous Lagunas Route through the high altiplano before exploring the world's largest salt flats, haunting Cerro Rico Mine and then dropping into the Amazon Basin. We didn't expect so much variety!

We ended up spending a month in La Paz uncovering the best adventure tourism, from climbing 6000m peaks to paragliding and mountain biking.
